Snorkeling: Old shipwrecks and man made reefs make Sanibel Island a snorkeling paradise. There are approximately fifteen such reefs within a 15 mile radius of Sanibel Island. These reefs make snorkeling an exciting experience. There are home to hundreds of varieties of fish.

Choosing an outdoor activity on Sanibel Island is a delightful dilemma. You have such a wide array of choices that you may need to extend your stay just to partake of each delightful opportunity at least once.
